Passive Products

Short Description​

This document provides information on managing "Passive Products" in the serB2B e-commerce system. Passive Products are defined as items that are manually displayed on the e-commerce site but whose sales are blocked by the admin. The Passive Products feature is an ideal solution for users who wish to temporarily halt the sale of certain products or keep them visible for management purposes while preventing purchases.

Marking a Product as Passive​

To mark a product as passive in the serB2B system, go to the admin panel's Products > Products section, select the product you wish to deactivate, and follow the steps below:

Step-by-Step Guide​

  1. Show on Site: Deactivate the Show on Site checkbox.
  2. Save: Click the Save button to complete the process.

Passive Products List​

To list Passive Products, go to the admin panel's Products > Passive Products section.

Bulk Deactivation of Products

To deactivate products in bulk, click the Bulk Action button located on the action bar above the product listing table.

  • Can a passive product be viewed by customers?

    No, passive products cannot be viewed on the e-commerce site, added to the cart, or purchased.

  • How can I reactivate an passive product?

    Go to the admin panel's Products > Passive Products section, select the product, activate the Show on Site checkbox, and click the Save button.
