Product Permission Group

By linking products to a permission group, you can determine which customer permission groups can or cannot view the product.

Let's use a textile company as an example. To decide on our production for the new season, there may be products we plan to open for pre-order to customers with whom we have made special agreements. To assign these products only to that customer group, we can follow the steps below.

1. From the Settings > Customer Permission Group screen, create a new customer permission group. We can name it 'Special Customer'.
2. From the Settings > Product Permission Group screen, create a new product permission group. We can name it 'Pre-Order'.
3. Go inside the added product permission group and uncheck all groups except 'Special Customer'.

The permission definition is now ready. To select which products will comply with this definition, you can process products individually or use bulk product update to complete the task quickly.
