serBarkod

Short Description

This document explains how to configure the serBarkod settings within the serB2B system. serBarkod is used to print barcodes for supplied products and optionally modify the displayed price by adding a prefix or suffix to make the actual price less obvious to the end customer.


Purpose of the Module

  • Simplify the barcode printing process
  • Define the download link for the serBarkod application
  • Customize price prefix/suffix for barcode labels
  • Set the application extension for integration

Settings and Descriptions

To configure serBarkod settings, go to Settings > serBarkod from the serB2B admin panel and fill in the following fields:


Enter the download URL of the serBarkod setup file.
Input Type: URL
Example: https://serenay.net.tr/serbarkod-setup.exe
Description: Users will use this link to access the installation file.


2. Price Prefix for serBarkod

Defines the prefix text to be added before the price on the barcode.
Input Type: Text
Example: *, , F:, 16
Description: Useful when you want to obscure the real price from the customer.


3. Price Suffix for serBarkod

Defines the suffix text to be added after the price on the barcode.
Input Type: Text
Example: TL, USD, +16
Description: Allows flexible formatting of the visible price.


4. Application Extension for serBarkod

Specifies the extension identifier used for integration.
Input Type: Text
Example: .serbarkod
Description: Required for application-system synchronization.


Saving and Applying

Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page to apply your changes. Settings will take effect immediately.


Tips and Suggestions

  • Adding symbols before or after the price can help prevent customers from clearly seeing the actual value.
  • You can use currency units or arbitrary symbols as suffixes.
  • Defining the application extension ensures a smooth integration with the system.
